Not Mahler, the other Alma

Quick update – on February 22nd, I will be featured and performing (yes, really) at Alma College in Alma, MI. Program will include my own Study on Morning Religion, and Betsy Jolas’ Musique pour Xavier, where I’ll be playing violin with saxophonist Jeffrey Loeffert, and clarinetist Lisa Raschiatore. Rule of 4′s?

So some updated info is in order, Ty Forquer will not be performing Cellular Hallucinations on February 12th, but February 4th. All other info is the same (SCENE Metrospace at 7PM).

Also, the premier of Chthonic Fragments has been scheduled. It will be taking place at Magnolia West High School in Houston Texas on May 4th. Time is still TBA.

Tentatively Hallucinating

So today is a good day for me. I’ve just found out that Ty Forquer has programmed Cellular Hallucinations for a tentative performance at (SCENE) Metrospace on February 12th, 2010. The program is scheduled to include works by Nate Bliton, Dave MacDonald, and Phillip Sink. More details will go up as they become available.

Gestalt Variations

I just got word yesterday that Gestalt Variations will be performed on December 5th at the 12 Nights Electronic Music and Art Festival. For those of you who are following the festival – yes, it is on the “horror” night. If you’re in the Miami area that day, the concert takes place at the Harold Golen Gallery from noon to 5pm. EAJJ 2009

Well, the Electro-Acoustic Juke Joint Festival is fast arriving. For those of you in the Cleveland Mississippi area, come on down to the Delta State University Performing Arts Center on Nov. 14th at 8PM to see the first ever performance of Hypnos performed on violin by yours truly.
