Comments (0) I’m finally done with the draft of Chthonic Fragments for symphonic band. The quick breakdown – 21 instruments, 35 pages, 292 measures, and a grand total of 9.5 minutes. I’ve lost track of the amount of coffee that went into its creation, but it was probably [definitely] a lot. It’s big.
Now, time for some sleep before I get up and head to Mississippi and EAJJ tomorrow.
Well, the Electro-Acoustic Juke Joint Festival is fast arriving. For those of you in the Cleveland Mississippi area, come on down to the Delta State University Performing Arts Center on Nov. 14th at 8PM to see the first ever performance of Hypnos performed on violin by yours truly.
